Divyanveshan
दिव्यान्वेषणWork that uplifts the social world: education, media and technology that help anyone understand and live this knowledge.
Open to everyoneKnowledge should not stay inside books, classrooms and research papers. Its purpose is fulfilled when a person can understand it, feel its meaning and carry it into everyday life.
Move or tap across the field. In Sāṅkhya, the world of experience unfolds when the balance of the three guṇas is stirred. This animation is a visual metaphor, made for this page.
Three strands of nature, always together. Choose one to see how the classical text describes it.
Four pathways of inquiry · anveṣaṇa
The work moves through four pathways. Each has its own purpose and its own circle of people. The innermost is kept private. The outermost belongs to everyone.
Work that uplifts the social world: education, media and technology that help anyone understand and live this knowledge.
Open to everyoneUnderstanding the physical, inner and virtual worlds, and how they meet. Tattva means "thatness", the true nature of a thing.
Open · exploringMy research: the mind, perception and well-being, carried out carefully and with scholars, psychologists and researchers.
With research collaboratorsNot shared publicly. It is opened only in person, with those established in brahmajñāna.
SealedIndia has preserved an extraordinary body of knowledge through the Vedas, the Upaniṣads, the Darśanas, Yoga and the experience of many thinkers. Today most of it reaches people through academic formats. Those formats protect authenticity and they matter. They are also not always easy to enter, especially for learners more at home in visual, interactive and digital spaces.
I want to build a bridge between this knowledge and the way people learn now. The aim is not to replace Sanskrit texts, original commentaries, books or academic research. It is to open more doors into them, so that people understand what ancient thinkers said and why it still matters for how we see ourselves, each other and the world.
Darśana means "a way of seeing". These six schools are a starting point. Other traditions will follow, always with careful attention to the texts and with scholars alongside.
Logic, debate and the valid means of knowing (pramāṇa).
Root text: Nyāya Sūtra, attributed to GautamaThe categories of what exists, including an account of atoms.
Root text: Vaiśeṣika Sūtra, attributed to KaṇādaPuruṣa (consciousness) and Prakṛti (nature), and the principles through which experience unfolds.
Earliest surviving text: Sāṅkhyakārikā of ĪśvarakṛṣṇaA discipline of attention and conduct, aimed at stillness of mind and freedom.
Root text: Yoga Sūtras of PatañjaliCareful interpretation of Vedic language, action and duty.
Root text: Mīmāṃsā Sūtra, attributed to JaiminiInquiry into Brahman and the self, grounded in the Upaniṣads.
Root text: Brahma Sūtra, attributed to BādarāyaṇaEvery piece of this work will say which kind of claim it is making. On this page you will see these marks wherever they apply.
My central question is how philosophy can become an experience as well as a subject of study. Imagine meeting Puruṣa and Prakṛti through visual storytelling, or meeting Patañjali's teaching inside real situations and small daily practices.
Sāṅkhya counts twenty-five principles (tattvas). Puruṣa, pure consciousness, stands apart as the witness. From Prakṛti, nature, the rest emerge in sequence. Press play to watch the sequence unfold.
Consciousness, the witness. It does not evolve and is not produced.
Unmanifest nature: the three guṇas held in balance.
The "great" principle: intellect, the capacity to decide.
The sense of "I", the maker of ownership.
Mind, which coordinates the senses.

Gross elements, arising from the tanmātras
Sequence after Sāṅkhyakārikā 3 and 22. This small diagram is only a taste of the idea. It is not the immersive pilot.
I want to explore many forms so that a learner can move through an idea instead of only reading its description.
One long-term hope is a cinematic, experiential portrait of the Indian Darśanas, built on careful research. The specific designs are being developed privately.
A multimedia project on understanding the Yoga Sūtras and living with them day to day. Each sūtra is approached in layers, kept clearly apart.
The Yoga-bhāṣya attributed to Vyāsa is the oldest surviving commentary on the Sūtras. Each episode reads the sūtra alongside it before offering anything modern.
Modern scholars, and readers in psychology, translate terms like citta and vṛtti in different ways. Those differences are shown openly instead of being smoothed over.
Notice the moment your attention is pulled away by a notification, a remark or a memory. An episode might begin there, then return to what the text and commentary actually say.
A contemporary magazine of Indian knowledge, with illustrated essays, visual research summaries, educational comics, collections of stories and research-based multimedia articles. Accessible to read, and honest about its sources.
This principle runs through all four pathways, and most of all through Manoanveshan.
Psychological and physical well-being must never be compromised in the name of spiritual progress.
Yoga Sūtra 2.46 describes posture as steady and at ease. I take that pairing of steadiness and ease as the measure for how all learning and practice here should feel.
Algorithms already shape what people watch, read, buy and explore. The same possibilities can guide people toward philosophy, creativity, scientific thinking, self-reflection, nature and real learning. Technology should help people discover knowledge without making them dependent on it.
These are the projects I intend to start, marked by pathway. All of them are at an early stage. Two are being developed privately and are shared only in conversation with collaborators. Aatmanveshan has no public projects.
An immersive, research-oriented home for the laboratory: its vision, its educational resources and its experiential projects, in one place people can explore.

I want to work with people who are curious about life, who look at the world from different angles, and who want to turn ideas into something useful for society. If this vision speaks to you, I would be glad to hear from you.
Tell me a little about yourself and which part of this work you would like to explore. Private projects are discussed one to one.
The vision, in one line
I hope to contribute to a world where knowledge is not merely collected, communicated or consumed, but understood, experienced and reflected in the way we live.
